Introduction

As we enter this period of federal lawmaking, it seems that our lawmakers have little no regard for the cost of their bills, what is actually in the bills, or what benefits the bills really provide.
Since the elected folks in D.C. do not appear to know what is proposed in these bills, I believe that we, as citizens of the U.S.A., should make ourselves aware of what these blockheads in Washington are actually proposing. They appear to be on a mission to promote their own selfish interests for their own benefit.
Apparently, our elected folks in D.C. do not know what ends up in the bills and they have no idea
1) What problems/circumstances are the bills are addressing? 2) What the bills actually provide for the citizens? 3) What the pros and cons of the legislation are? 4) What the costs of these bills actually are? We, the citizens, need to read these bills and make our concerns known to our elected officials. If you do not vote, you are part of the problem. The only way to improve our situation is to vote the ones that do not believe they work for us out of office!
Contact your representatives and express your concerns. Make them tell you what they are doing! E-mailing is easy to do and you can find your representatives at http://www.house.gov/ and your senators at http://www.senate.gov/.
The purpose of this blog is to provide a vehicle for anyone to express their concerns so others can participate by researching or brain-storming to give us all a greater view of the direction in which our country is heading.
